▪ The new regulation that are including substitute refrigerants do not require re-certification of existing technicians or require additional certification, but do require these technicians know and observe the expanded regulations. The test bank of questions for certification will be updated to reflect the new rules and substitute refrigerants.

(* 2018 년도 1월1일이후 부터는, 새로운 대채냉매/신냉매 취급 자격증 시험은 기존하는 자격증을 소지한 경우 새로히 시험보지 않아도 되지만 새로히 변경되는 사항에 대하여 스스로 알아서 따라야 하고,
새로운 조례에 대한 새로운 시험문제가 대체냉매에 대한 문제집에서 출제될 예정이기도 합니다. )

▪ A copy of technicians certification must be kept in their place of business.

▪ Must maintain a copy of the technician certification until three (3) years after no longer operating as a technician.

(* 냉매취급자격증 은 반듯이 영업장소에 비치하여야 하며, 직장을 그만두었다 하여도 3년간 비치 하여야 합니다. )

(* 지난 수년간 협회를 통하여 혹은 다른 프로그램으로 냉매취급자격증 취득하신분들은 2018년 1월1일 이후 반듯이 작업시에 냉매회수작업을 의무적으로 실시하여야 하며 최대한의 노력으로 냉매누설방지에 임하여야 하며 대체냉매 취급에 대한 규제와 조례에 대하여서도 EPA에서 요구하는 사항을 지켜야할 의무사항을 지게 됩니다. (* EPA SNAP 사항 참조//인터넷 종합검증 가능 ))

Types of technicians certification.

(* 시험중 제일 많이 틀리시는 부분입니다. )

Type l -- Small Appliance :

Manufactured, charged and hermetically sealed with five (* 5 )pounds or less of refrigerant. Includes refrigerators, freezers, room air conditioners , package terminal air conditioners (* PTAC 's ) heat pumps, dehumidifiers, under-the-counter ice-makers, vending machines and drinking water coolers.

(* 타입 l // 작은 공조기 취급자격증이란 ? ; 공장에서 제조하여 밀폐용기/압축기에 5 파운드 미만의 냉매가 들어있는 • 가정용 냉장고, 냉동고, 방에 사용하는 에어컨, 벽에 설치 하는 에어컨, 힛펌프//한몸체에 제조/설치할수 있는 기계, 제습기, 카운터 아래에 설치하여 사용하는 제빙기, 자판기, 혹은 음료수 냉각기 등을 취급 할수있는 자격증을 이야기 합니다. )


Type ll -- High Pressure Appliance.

Uses refrigerant with a boiling point between - 50 C// -58 F. and 10 C // 50 F at atmospheric pressure.

Very High Pressure Appliances.

Uses refrigerant with a boiling point below 10 C// 50 F at atmospheric pressure.

(* Type ll // 고압 취급자격증이란 대기압에서 -50C// -58F에서 10C//50 F 사이에서 기화/비등점 혹은
-50 C//-58 F미만에서 기화/비등점을 보여주는 냉매를 다룰수 있는 자격증을 이야기합니다. )

Type lll: Low Pressure Appliance.

Uses refrigerant with a boiling point above 10 C// 50 F at atmospheric pressure.

(* Type lll: 저압취급 자격증; 대기압 // 0 psig 의 경우, 주로 10 C/ 50 F 이상에서 기화/비등점을 보여주는 냉매 취급자격증으로 주로 터보냉동을 이야기하기도 합니다. )

(* 미주에서는 직업 업종의 분업으로 타입 l, ll, lll. 한가지 혹은 둘, 셋으로 나뉘여 소지 하여도 직종이 따른 취업이나 사업 운영에 지장이 없으나 타입 세가지를 모두 취득 하셨을 경우 미환경청 요구 사항인 현장시범에 실패 하실 경우 자격증 취소를 당할수도 있기에 최소 게이지 설치, 색갈 구분  및 냉매 회수기 다루는 방법 및 해외 진출시에 원어//영어로 설명 할수 있어야 한다 라고 조례 규정으로 공고하고 있기에 참고 하시기 바랍니다. )


3. Equipment and Reclaimer Certification.

Established equipment and Reclaimer certification program that would verify all recycling or recovery equipment sold was capable of minimizing emissions and that ODS and substitute reclaimed refrigerant on the market was of known and acceptable quality to avoid equipment failures from contaminated refrigerants.

(* 새로이 삽입된 종목으로 냉매 회수 및 재환수// Reclaim 하려고 하는 장비는 회수/환수/재활용 하려 할때의 최소 배기 기준 뿐만 아니라 시장에 판매 하려 할때 재활용 냉매가 또 다시 장비를 고장 나지 않는다는 질//Quality// ARI-700를 충족시키면서 사용되어야 한다 라고 규제 합니다 )

▪ Before systems are opened for maintenance, service or repair, the technician must evacuate the refrigerant in either the entire unit or the part to be serviced. (* if latter can be isolated ) to a system receiver or recovered to ( by ) a certified recovery or recycle machine. The vacumm levels are found in the table of Section Seven .

(* 기계를 서비스, 관리, 수리 하려고 할때 냉매 회수를 일부분 혹은 전체적으로 수액기로 혹은 회수 하려 할때 대기방출/배기를 최소화하기 위하여 미환경청인증 회수 탱크에 회수 하여야 하며 그에 대한 진공 여부는 7장에서 참고 하기로 합니다. p.92 참조. )

▪ Contractors must certifying that they own certified recovery or recycling equipment to perform on -site recovery or recycling.

(* 계약자/기술인은 반듯이 냉매 회수 및 환수 할수 있는 인증 받은 냉매회수기 //환수기를 현장에서 사용 할수 있어야 합니다. )

▪ With the adoption of the Industry Regulation Guideline (* IRG 2 ), refrigerant can change ownership as long as it is brought to ARI Standard 700 purity levels, and as long as the refrigerant remain in the contractor's custody and control. Theses purity levels can be accomplished the field recycling, testing, and documentation or by returning to a certified reclaimer. The following four options are available for technicians /contractor's with refrigerant that has been recovered from a system.

(* 제품 회사용 조례를 다루어 볼때, ARI-700조항에 의한 냉매의 순수함을 증명할수 있따면 판매//교환 할수 있으며 기술인 소유로 처리 할수도 있으며 현장 에서 재환수/활용하여 순수함을 증명 할수 있는 서류 작성 혹은 재환수/Reclaim 하는곳 으로 돌려 보낼수도 있읍니다. )

네가지 옵션 사항을 살펴보면 ;

옵션 1 : Put refrigerant back into the system without recycling it.

냉매환수/recycling 작업 없이 재충전.

옵션 2 : Recycle refrigerant and put it back into the system from which it was removed or back into a system with the same owner.

냉매를 환수 하여/ recycling, 같은 소유주의 경우, 회수한 같은 기계에 재충전 할수도 있읍니다.

옵션 3 : Recycle the refrigerant, test to verify conformance d to ARI Standard 700 prior to reuse in a different owner's equipment provided that the refrigerant remain in the contractor's custody and control at all times from recovery through recycling to reuse.

냉매를 환수하여 ARI-700 새로운 냉매 조항에 맞는다는 조건으로 같은 소유주의 조건 아래 다른 기계에 사용 할수 있도록 냉매회수/환수하여 사용 할수 있도록 합니다.

옵션 4: Send refrigerant to a certified reclaimer.

회수한 냉매를 인증된 재환수 하는곳으로 보내도록 합니다.
